is it better to pay off your credit cards with a debt consolidation or just pay it off yourself?

especially if you dont' have the money to pay off the monthly balance? i have ,000 worth of credit card debt and not sure if it was a good idea to get a debt consolidation loan to pay 3 of 'em.

We are looking at an unsecured debt repayment plan through a third party debt consolidation company. Can we buy a house while we are on that plan?

What company or companies gives out debt consolidation loans to people with bad credit?

I want to know if you personally found a company which considered your case and gave you a loan even though you have bad credit and outstanding balances. I have researched enough about counseling and debt consolidation loans. I just want to know who has actually gone through the process and which company you used. Thanks
